The project includes providing all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment and other means of construction to demolish, remove, and dispose of (4) existing UV reactors and replace existing UV reactors with (4) new UV reactors. The UV reactor equipment has been pre-purchased by the Albany Water Board (Owner). Installation also includes all labor, materials, machinery, tools, equipment, and other means of construction to complete electrical and controls upgrades required for the UV reactors. Under a separate contract, the Owner will provide integration of the UV disinfection process control system into the Owner’s facility control system.

Bids shall be submitted in triplicate. A Bid shall be submitted no later than the date and time prescribed and at the place indicated in the Notice to Bidders and shall be enclosed in
an opaque sealed envelope plainly marked with the Project title (and, if applicable, the designated portion of the Project for which the Bid is submitted), the name and address of Bidder, and shall be accompanied by the Bid security and other required documents. If a Bid is sent by mail or other delivery system, the sealed envelope containing the Bid shall be enclosed in a separate envelope plainly marked on the outside with the notation “BID ENCLOSED.”
