Summary of Specifications:
The City of Cohoes, New York is requesting sealed bids for the Office of General Services for: One (1) hydraulically actuated packer body of the rear-loading type. The body shall be capable of compacting and transporting refuse to a landfill or transfer station and dispensing the load of either compartment by means of hydraulic ejection. The body shall not be required to be tilted, lifted, or otherwise displaced from the chassis in order to eject the load.

All equipment furnished under this contract shall be new and unused, and the same as the manufacturer’s current production model. Accessories not specifically mentioned, but necessary to furnish a complete unit ready for use, shall also be included. The equipment furnished shall conform to all ANSI Safety Standards A245.1-2008.
