Summary of Specifications:
Below please find the Estimated Yearly Usage. All chemical listed in gallons (gal) are required in liquid form and pounds (lbs) are required in powder form. Chemicals Estimated Yearly Usage Alum 90,000 gal Caustic soda 22,000 gal Chlorine (bulk@cfp) 30,000 gal Chlorine (15 gal drums) 50 drums or 750 gal Sodium permanganate 5500 gal Sodium permanganate (15 gal drums) 25 drums or 375 gal Copper Sulfate 2400 lbs Chemicals will be purchased on an as needed basis throughout the year. Upon request, all chemicals are to be delivered to the City of Cohoes Water Filtration Plant, 155 Vliet Street, Cohoes, NY 12047. Special Delivery Instructions Alum: 3500 - 4000 gals per delivery Chlorine (bulk) 1700 – 2000 gals per delivery
