RFPK22-11 - Historic Preservation Consulting Services

The City of Kingston, NY (“City”) as Contractor to the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation & Historic Preservation (“NYSOPRHP”) (“Grantor”) (“State”) is seeking a Historic Preservation Consultant or team of Consultants (“Consultant”) to provide professional services to survey properties which are not protected from development, beginning with the two distinct neighborhoods of Wilbur and Ponckhockie, then move forward to identify those that do not have designation, with a goal of identifying historic resources and buildings for preservation, protection, using new industry standards, and preparing nominations for the State and National Register.   This project is funded by a grant from the NYS Office of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation through FFY21 Historic Preservation Fund (HPF) Sub-Grant/Certified Local Government (CLG) Award.
The City is issuing a request for proposals (RFP) from qualified independent firms to provide professional consulting; you are invited to submit a proposal in accordance with the terms outlined in this RFP.
