The City of Newburgh, New York, requests the submission of proposals for the purchase, and redevelopment of city-owned property located at 140 & 146 Montgomery Street, and 137 Smith Street in the City of Newburgh, Orange County, New York.
Qualified and interested vendors shall submit their quotations by mail or in person to the City of Newburgh no later than 4:00 PM (local time) Friday, August 02, 2019. (See Addendum No. 1 dated July 25, 2019 for new submission deadline extension.)
Vendors are responsible for timely submission of their proposals. Proposals received after specified due date and time will not be accepted.
Specifications may be obtained by visiting the Empire State Purchasing Group website at: www.bidnetdirect.com/new-york/city-of-newburgh. Selecting the “Open Bids” tab. Vendors may have to register if visiting this site for the first time.
Please ensure that “City of Newburgh-RFP 19-19” is clearly marked on the outside of the envelope submitted.
No proposal shall be withdrawn for a period of forty-five (45) days subsequent to the submission deadline without the consent of the City of Newburgh Comptroller.
Award of the contract may be subject to approval by City Council. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, or to accept any part of the proposal without accepting the whole thereof, or to accept such proposal they deem to be in the best interest of the City.
