Summary of Specifications:
Base Bid – Forest Avenue- The Base Bid will include all labor, material, trucking, installation and miscellaneous costs for the reconstruction of Forest Avenue including the intersections as shown on the Contract Drawings and Specifications. Work to be done will include installing Portland concrete curb & gutter, replacing existing sidewalk with Portland concrete sidewalk including handicapped ramps, replacing asphalt driveway aprons, restoration of grass parkways, milling 3” of existing asphalt, milling to sub-grade of remaining asphalt (Minimum 3”), replacing existing 4” water main, valves, services and hydrants with new 8” HDPE water main, valves, services and hydrants, replacing existing 8” sanitary main and manholes with new 8” sanitary main and manholes, replacing existing sanitary laterals to back of sidewalk, replacing existing subbase with 8” compacted gravel sub-base, designing and manufacturing Central Plant Mix Recycled Asphalt using millings provided by Owner, installing 4” of Recycled Asphalt Binder Mix, furnishing and installing true and leveling courses, furnishing and installing 2” Recycled Asphalt Top Mix, furnishing and installing bituminous double surface treatment (chip seal), replacing and installing signage and pavement markings as indicated on the Contract Drawings and Specifications.
