This project is located in the City of Oneonta in Neahwa Park along the Oneonta Millrace from Neahwa Place to Catella Park at James Lettis Highway.
The project is summarized as follows:
Base Bid – The Base Bid will include all labor, material, equipment, trucking, installation and miscellaneous costs for construction of a new and improved recreational path and amenities as shown on the Contract Drawings and described in the Contract Specifications. Work to be done will include clearing and grubbing. Installing subbase material and asphalt surface, site work, and restoration related thereto,
Alternate #1 – Alternate #1 will include all labor, material, equipment, mobilization, trucking, installation and miscellaneous costs for installation of approximately 792 liner feet of wood post guiderail, related sitework and restoration related thereto, as indicated in the Contract Drawings and Specifications.
Alternate #2 – Alternate #2 will include all labor, material, equipment, mobilization, trucking, installation and miscellaneous costs for installation of approximately 950 liner feet by 5 feet wide asphalt path. Work to consist of milling the existing asphalt surface and place 2-inch-thick Type 6 asphalt surface, related sitework and restoration related thereto, as indicated in the Contract Drawings and Specifications
Alternate #3 – Alternate #3 will include all labor, material, equipment, mobilization, trucking, installation of approximately 116 liner feet by 8 feet wide multi-use path. Work to consist of rough grading and placement of geotextile membrane, subbase material and 2-inch-thick Type 6 asphalt surface, related sitework and restoration related thereto, as indicated in the Contract Drawings and Specifications. This work will also include obtaining a NYSDOT Highway Work Permit for Non-Utility Work (Form PERM 33) and complying with all conditions of the permit.
