Summary of Specifications:
Item 1. Pump One (1) 40” diameter tube mounted Schreiber screw pump or approved equal with a capacity of 2,637 GPM at approximately 4.5 ft. of lift on a 38° incline, including 20” torque tube, three (3) flights, 7.5 hp motor, low speed coupling, drive assembly, combination radial & thrust lower bearing, gravity oil lubricated, and finish painting.
New pump is to replace existing Schreiber Pump meeting the above specifications. Contractor to insure new pump will connect to existing connections. If new pump cannot connect to existing connections, the Contractor will replace existing connections to match new pump at no additional expense to the City. Item 2. Installation
Installation of pump described above at City of Oneonta Wastewater Treatment Plant, 11 Silas Lane, Oneonta NY 13820.
1. Remove existing screw pump and set new pump in place to all manufacturers’ specifications. 2. Contractor to install all equipment in a true and professional manor to all manufacturers’ specifications. 3. Provide and install new wiring to pump to all manufacturers’ specifications. All wiring to comply with all applicable codes. 4. Provide and add all specified and required oils and lubricants to pump. 5. Contractor to perform test run for proper operation before acceptance. 6. Contractor shall remove and dispose of existing pump. Contractor shall clean all debris associated with the replacement before final approval.
