Summary of Specifications:
Approximately 24 barrels of polymer, ordered as needed, to be used with belt press to de-water anaerobically digested bio-solids, STA-FLOC 250,SEDI-FLOC CE 400FL,CLARIFLOC NE 531 or approved equal. Finished sludge must be a minimum of 20% solids to meet landfill application requirements.
Application for Approved Equals (page 5 of this bid package), must be submitted with bid. Approval as Approved Equal will be determined by analysis of Jar Test and Trial Run on Press results, which must be submitted with Application for Approved Equals. Bidder must supply a firm price for the year 2011, and guarantee that prices bid are the lowest offered to any governmental or commercial establishment for like or similar quantities per delivery or pickup considering transportation cost and/or other expense factors. Should the bidder offer any consumer lower prices during the contract period, such lower prices shall apply on all unshipped orders, from the date of such offering for the balance of the contract period or until a further price reduction is made. The bidder shall immediately notify the Purchasing Department, 258 Main Street, Oneonta, New York-13820, in writing, of new pricing.
Contract to be awarded through December 31, 2011, with option to extend for one year upon mutual agreement.
