RFB-COP-04-09-11 - Replacement of Vents at Secured City Facility

Summary of Specifications:
City of Poughkeepsie will supply new vents and vent adapters for installation. Contractor is to remove existing vent caps, dispose of them properly, repair existing vent collar as required and place new fabricated “base flange” adapter and vent to existing support shoulder. Contractor will be required to move vents from storage area to installation point approximately 200 feet maximum distance. Once vent and adapter is placed Contractor will secure with “plug welds” to secure entire combination in place to existing vent sleeve. Vent installation is at ground level, Omega Arc Vents are approximately 6’w x 3’h, 750 pounds each and will be stored on site prior to beginning this labor contract. Contractor will bring no equipment onto site with combined gross weights of more than 26,000 pounds.
