Description

This Demolition Package contains a total of forty-three (43) properties with forty-four (44) structures. Twenty-nine (29) structures in this package shall be bid and performed as “Controlled Demolitions with the Asbestos in Place.” The fifteen (15) remaining structures listed have had the asbestos abated by the City of Rochester prior to the contract award for demolition.

Because demolition of these structures is a high priority public safety matter, the City seeks to have the demolitions start immediately upon award of the contract(s) and have as many of the properties as possible completely demolished and cleared no later than July 31, 2018. For this reason, the City reserves the right to award multiple contracts based upon the capacity of each bidder to complete properties awarded on or before July 31, 2018.

Sealed Bids are to be submitted in hard copy to the Office of the Purchasing Agent, City Hall, Room 105-A, Rochester, NY 14614 prior to the closing date and time, after which all bids properly received will be opened, read and recorded.

Bids shall be submitted only on the complete Proposal on the form provided by the City. Bids must be submitted in hard copy on the Proposal. Electronic bid submittals through BidNet will not be accepted.
