CONTRACT TYPE: This is a LUMP SUM contract.
PROJECT SUMMARY: This project consists of Improvements to Fourth & Peck and Tacoma Park Playgrounds.
The scope of work consists of improvements to Fourth & Peck Playground including: Removal and disposal of existing poured in place safety surfacing, repair to existing asphalt base, removal of water spray feature with associated mechanical, solar, and plumbing workings, and surrounding pavement full depth as shown on the drawings. Installation of new poured in place safety surfacing at Tot and Pre-Teen playsets, and installation of new flush mounted water spray feature with new associated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing workings and surrounding pavement as shown on the contract drawings.
Improvements to Tacoma Park Playground including: Removal of existing tot and pre-teen playground equipment, swings, asphalt pavement, safety tiles, fencing, and backstops full depth as shown on the contract drawings. Installation of new adult fitness, tot, and pre-teen playsets, swings on poured in place safety surfacing with perimeter concrete curbing, asphalt path, 4' black vinyl clad chain link fencing, six (6) shade trees, flexi-pave surface in tree pit, three (3) backed benches on concrete pad, two (2) bike racks, on (1) trash receptacle on concrete pads, and four (4) boulders as shown on the contract drawings.
