Rehabilitation and repair of the City of Rye drainage collection system and associated site related improvements including but not limited to catch basins, drainage manholes, drainage pipe, check valves, pavement resurfacing, shoulder, and lawn rehabilitation.
It is not intended that this scope of work mentions each item required, but that it gives information concerning the general scope and areas of work for the convenience of the bidders.
The City reserves the right to add or delete work locations to this contract as is in the best interest of the City. No additional payment above that of the required unit prices will be made for additional work.
This contract shall be in effect until December 31, 2025. It is the City’s intention to add additional drainage improvements throughout the contract period. The contract may be extended, at the City’s discretion, as agreed to by both parties, until December 31, 2026.
It is the goal of the City to award the Base Bid and Alternate Bid if the low bid for all items are within the amount budgeted for this project. If the Base Bid and Alternate exceed the amounted budgeted for this project, the contract will be awarded to the bidder submitting the lowest Base Bid.
