RFB-10-0022 - Former City Hall Building Demolition @ 1 Monument Square, NY

Summary of Specifications:
The former City Hall was constructed in 1974 for the cost of approximately $2.8 million. Overall, three story pre-cast concrete building contains 58,000 square feet of office and public spaces. There is a two-level parking garage below the main offices which can accessed from Front and River Streets. 

Structural statistics show the building contains 10,000 cubic yards on concrete. Weight-wise, this represents over 20,000 tons of concrete. Numerically, there are 580 pre-cast pieces that compromise the buildings structure. Also, there is 10,000 square feet of plate glass. 

The qualified contractor will be required to provide the following: 1.Permit Notifications 2.Demolition Plan for each structure 3.Site Mobilization 4.Asbestos Abatement and Building Decontamination 5.Dust Control Methods and Procedures 6.Demolition of each structure 7.Remove all material from the site 8.Traffic Control and Site Security
