SCOPE OF WORK:
The City of Yonkers (the “City”) is seeking an Administrative Quality Assurance Specialist – Process Expert (“AQAS Expert”) to increase efficiencies and implement standard work procedures within the City of Yonkers. The AQAS Expert will report directly to the Commissioner of Information Technology (the “Commissioner”). The AQAS Expert will be in frequent communication with the Commissioner throughout the duration of this project. The AQAS Expert is to provide status reports as requested by the Commissioner.
Work is to be performed 75% onsite and 25% Remote
COY is the owner of all of its data supplied to Consultant and all derivative works produced by Consultant from its data.
Consultant acknowledges that it has no rights in any of the software , systems documentation, guidelines, procedures, and similar related materials or any modifications thereof except with respect to the use of the same during the term of this Agreement. Upon termination, Consultant shall provide COY with all copies of Consultant’s work in a format that is being used by COY.
Job Responsibilities: Expert in Defining, Improving, and Optimizing Operational Processes to increase efficiencies and implementing standard work procedures. Develop work design and Work Breakdown Structure by utilizing Lean Six Sigma and Project Management methodologies. Apply Lean Concept tools to identify and remove Non-Value Added steps and redundancies in current processes to drive Process Redesign. Perform Gap Analysis, Motion Study, and Value Stream Mapping to optimize and monitor process performance. Apply Lean Concepts to develop operational process charts, process planning layout charts, and flowcharts - including Swim lane, workflow, and data flowcharts.
Job Requirements: Master Degree in Engineering and Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt experienced in Microsoft Suite including MS Visio, MS Project, Advance Microsoft Excel, and Lucid chart. Minimum 10 years of experience in process optimization.
