The City of Yonkers wishes to enter into a twelve (12) month contract for the option to purchase the following item as needed with no minimum order:

Tork Universal – Natural – Singlefold Paper Towels, Item #SK1850A, or equal
Item size: 9.1” x 10.2” (NO EXCEPTIONS)
EcoLogo (Green Seal) Certified, or equal (NO EXCEPTIONS)

If bidding an equal, bidder must provide the manufacturer name and manufacturer part number of the item being bid. Additionally, all corresponding technical data and specification sheets must be included with bid submission. Item is subject to review by the City of Yonkers. Final determination of product compliance will be made by the City of Yonkers. Samples are to be available upon request. All equals must be the EXACT size as requested in order to fit into existing dispensers. All equals must meet the requirements of the City of Yonkers’ Environmentally Preferable Procurement (EPP) Policy which is defined as follows:

“Printer and Office Paper products shall be at a minimum of 30% post-consumer recycled paper. Items in this category include, but are not limited to, white and color paper, filing folders, envelopes, note pads, boxes, business cards, toilet paper, paper towels, napkins, and facial tissue.”

The successful bidder will be required to deliver to the following four (4) locations within the City of Yonkers:

DPW General Services – 170 Saw Mill River Road – Yonkers, NY 10703
Parks Administration – 285 Nepperhan Avenue – Yonkers, NY 10701
Water Treatment Plant – 1070 Nepperhan Avenue – Yonkers, NY 10701
Fire Special Operations – 460 Nepperhan Avenue – Yonkers, NY 10701

All locations require standard, inside delivery between the hours of 8am – 3pm Monday through Friday.

Bidders are reminded that bids received after 2:00 PM are late and will not be accepted – allow sufficient time to find parking and get through security.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic and in line with the directives issued by the Mayor of Yonkers regarding public safety, there is limited access to One Larkin Center. The building is open from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM for receiving packages via courier services and in person. If delivering bids in person, individuals must wear face coverings and see the Public Safety Officer in the library atrium who will clock in the bid and then contact Purchasing to pick up the bid. Sealed Bids will continue to be opened and read at the specified date and time, however, there will not be a public opening of bids. Those interested in listening to the bid opening and the reading of bids can dial Conference Call number 1-701-802-5221 and enter Access Code 1354203 when prompted on the due date of the bid opening. The bid opening will start promptly at 2:00 pm. It is recommended that vendors are dialed in by 1:55 pm to hear the bid results. No questions will be answered while the bid opening is in progress.
