RFB-6609: Purchase of MK 111 Rifles, or equal, & Trade-Ins
Intent
The City of Yonkers (the “City”) wishes to procure forty-six (46) Primary Weapons Systems (“PWS”) MK 111 Rifles, or equal, for its Police Emergency Services Unit (“ESU”). Each firearm will be custom adjusted to each individual ESU Officer by an ESU Armorer. The City intends to procure these firearms while simultaneously trading in thirty-five (35) older generation firearms currently in the City’s possession.
Bidders will be required to provide proof of a valid Federal Firearm License (“FFL”) with bid submissions.
Mandatory Pre-Bid Meeting
Prospective Bidders will be able to inspect and evaluate the condition of the firearms available for trade-in during a mandatory pre-bid meeting:

Attendees are to pre-register for this meeting by emailing the Buyer, Nicole Galdi – nicole.galdi@yonkersny.gov. The deadline to pre-register is Wednesday, April 14, 2021 at 2PM EST. All pre-registration emails are to include company name, name of person(s) attending, and proof of a valid FFL license.
IMPORTANT NOTICE: Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all attendees at the pre-bid meeting must wear appropriate face coverings and practice 6-feet social distancing at all times. Additionally, attendance is limited to two (2) representatives per company.
