IFB-6483 - Restoration of Building Envelope, Interiors, Security and Site at School 16

The project consists of the provision of installation of security cameras, card readers, and intercoms at select doors. Exterior site drainage and paving. Interior finishes and door replacement. Plumbing, HVAC, electric upgrades, and AC in server room. Replacement of public address system.
PROJECT LABOR AGREEMENT (“PLA”)
This will be a single prime vendor contract for all required trades subject to the provisions of the attached PLA prepared by the Building and Construction Trades Council of Westchester and Putnam Counties, New York, AFL-CIO (“the Council”).  The successful bidder is required to execute three copies of the PLA which shall be submitted to the Council for final execution.

The use of the PLA allows the City to waive the Wicks Law requiring separate contracts for 1) plumbing and gas fitting, 2) steam heating, hot water heating, ventilating and air conditioning apparatus, and 3) electrical wiring and standard illuminating fixtures.

However, in order to be responsive and eligible for award, bidders must submit in a separate sealed envelope, a sealed list, with their bid, naming each subcontractor for the aforementioned trades and the amount to be paid to each (Sealed Subcontractor forms are included with this bid).  Failure to include these forms in a separate sealed envelope with your bid shall render your bid non-responsive and ineligible for award.
