The City is requesting Proposals from qualified Respondents for the performance of non-exclusive translation services for the City as described further herein.
The Services consist of translating languages to English and translating English to various languages. The Services will be needed and utilized for a variety of proceedings and functions, including translation, transcription, and related services, including grand jury proceedings, witness interviews, and court proceedings. The translation of written, audio, or video materials may also be required.
The City is seeking translation services for the following languages: French, German, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Greek, Hebrew, Russian, Romanian, Scandinavian, Slavic languages, Arabic, Chinese, Farsi, Japanese, Korean, Turkish, Vietnamese, and other/various Asian, Indian, and African languages.
Respondents should list all languages for which they are able to provide translation services and need not be able to provide translation services for all of the languages for which the City is requesting translation services in order to submit a Proposal.
This RFP is for non-exclusive translation services. Services will be used on an as-needed basis. The City may retain more than one firm or Respondent to perform the Services.
