Description

The City of Mount Vernon seeks to install an ADA compliant elevator system at Memorial Field located at 431 Garden Ave. We wish to provide a handicap-accessible route from the existing grandstand lower mezzanine area to the existing stadium pressbox level. The majority of the proposed accessible route encompasses a vertical travel distance of approximately five (5) stories. The construction of which should be compliant with prevailing wage guidelines and federal regulation regarding usage of steel.

The City of Mount Vernon is committed to increasing participation of Minority and Women Owned Businesses or Enterprises (MWBE) as prime contractors or sub-contractors on our projects. We encourage all participating vendors to help the City address its policy goals.

This project will be funded from Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) dollars from the federal government. The awarded firm must be in compliance and adhere to all requirements from the federeal government
