CONNETQUOT CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT 2025-2026 REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL ARMED SECURITY GUARD SERVICES
BASE CONTRACT PERIOD: JULY 1, 2025 – JUNE 30, 2026
WITH POTENTIAL FOR FOUR-YEAR EXTENSION
The Connetquot Central School District’s Board of Education, hereby invites the submission of a SEALED PROPOSALS which shall be received until 11:00 a.m. prevailing time on Monday March 14, 2025, at the Connetquot Central School District located at 780 Ocean Avenue, Bohemia, NY 11716, at which time they will be publicly opened and not read aloud.
Request for Proposal forms and specifications may be downloaded from Bidnet on or after Friday, February 28, 2025. Documents can be emailed to prospective proposers by calling (631) 244-2215 ex 3533.
The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all proposals submitted, or any part thereof, and to waive any informality, and shall, further make awards in any ways it deems advisable to the best interest of the School District.
ALL PROPOSALS RECEIVED AFTER THE TIME STATED IN THE REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AND WILL BE RETURNED UNOPENED TO THE PROPOSER. The proposer assumes the risk of any delay in the mail or in the handling of the mail by employees of the School District. Whether sent by mail or by means of personal delivery, the proposer assumes responsibility for having their proposal deposited on time at the place specified.
Proposals must be in SEALED ENVELOPE clearly marked on the outside “RFP Armed Security Guard Services”, and the envelope must bear on the outside the name, and complete address of the proposer. The Cost proposal shall be in a separate sealed envelope labeled “Sealed Dollar Cost Proposal” and inserted into the proposal envelope (Please use Appendix B to provide sealed dollar cost proposal).
Each Proposer shall agree to hold his/her proposal price for ninety (90) days after the formal RFP opening. The award of the RFP will be made as soon as practical after the opening of the proposals.
