RFP-DCH-2013-05 - Achieving Compliance w/ NYSDEC & EPA w/regards to PBS

Summary of Specifications:
Dutchess County (the “County”) is seeking to retain a qualified Engineering Firm (the “Consultant”) to assist with achieving compliance with New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC) and Federal Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations with regard to petroleum bulk storage (PBS). The County is under Order on Consent (CO) with NYSDEC, Case Number D3-1006-06-09AM (copy enclosed as Attachment #1). The Consultant shall prepare and institute a Compliance Program for each of sixteen (16) County-owned or operated facilities in order to terminate the Order on Consent. County facilities are listed in the attached CO as Exhibit “A”. This Request for Proposals (RFP) is intended to help the County select a qualified and experienced consultant.
