Description

This Request for Proposals (RFP) is to secure a qualified firm(s) to provide and implement the
following transit technologies for Dutchess County Public Transit (DCPT):
• Fixed Route Scheduling Software
• Automatic Vehicle Location (AVL)
• Computer-Aided Dispatch (CAD)
• Real-Time Passenger Information (RTPI)
• Demand Response Scheduling Software
• Equipment - Mobile Data Terminals (MDTs), Tablets, GPS devices
Said systems will help DCPT improve its operational strategies, provide tools for reporting
ridership, miles, and service hours, and enhance communications between our agency and the
riders and community we serve.
