Summary of Specifications:
The DSS serves as the County safety net for vulnerable adults and children throughout the course of the year. In some instances, access to essential services is required while the DSS is closed for business after 5:00 PM, before 9:00 AM on weekdays and 24/7 on holidays and weekends. The DSS maintains a series of emergency services accessible through the After-Hours Helpline and available to residents of the County who are determined to be eligible for emergency assistance.
