Summary of Specifications:
Consultant shall, as ultimately specified in the executed contract, perform one or more of the following services and any additional services as may be specified in such contract: consolidate and/or recodify the existing Orange County Charter and Administrative Code, including any required research, editing, annotations and/or indexing; supply electronic versions of the Charter and Administrative Code in one or more file formats and/or desktop installations; publish the Charter and Administrative Code in looseleaf and softbound versions; publish and maintain the Charter and Administrative Code on Consultant's web�]based service; prepare and maintain supplements in any of the above formats; and distribute the recodification and/or supplements. The Charter and Administrative Code were originally printed in January 1976, with reprints in July 1984 and January 1998. With respect to the formatting and printing or other publication of the Charter and Administrative Code, at this time County anticipates simply preparing a clean consolidated reprint to delete abolished provisions and insert language added since the last reprint in 1998, perhaps adding some editorial notes and indexing, rather than a comprehensive recodification. We also desire supplementation services, an electronic copy and perhaps webhosting of the updated documents. However, this RFP permits Offerors to present proposals that incorporate additional optional services, such as more comprehensive recodification services, for the County to accept, at its discretion.
