RFP-DGS06-16 - Fleet Leasing and Management Services

Summary of Specifications:
The County of Orange ("County") requests written proposals from qualified companies to provide Fleet Leasing and Management Services, including vehicle service and maintenance on an "as needed" basis, and potential additional services as defined in the Specifications of this RFP and as may be proposed by Offerors. The County's motor pool current owns approximately 160 sedans, 27 sport utility vehicles, 33 vans, 11 electric vehicles, 12 pickups, and 74 "confidential" vehicles used by law enforcement - all of which are "leased" to various County departments (refer to Central Motor Pool "Lease" Vehicle List incorporated as Attachment A to this RFP). The initial conversion to actual leasing will involve approximately 35 sedans, 15 sport utility vehicles and 5 vans. This is a non-guaranteed amount contract intended for a five (5) year period. The County reserves the right to order any amount of leased vehicles and additional services it deems in the best interest of the County.
