1. The County of Orange (“County”) is seeking proposals from qualified offerors for an integrated business and technology solution for fleet and fuel management to replace the County’s existing fleet and fuel management system, which is 25+ years old and no longer supported (the “Project”).
2. The successful offeror awarded a contract under this RFP (“Vendor”) will deliver ONE fully integrated business and technology cloud-based solution (“Solution”) that provides fuel management, vehicle/equipment asset tracking, motor pool management, maintenance, repair and work order management, and parts and inventory control. The Solution must minimize administrative workload while maximizing the availability of critical data through reporting interfaces and direct queries.
3. Vendor will, as part of the Solution, deliver and install nine (9) fuel control terminals at the locations identified in the Specifications portion of this RFP. The fuel control terminals MUST be capable of accepting key FOBs, which shall also be provided as part of the Solution, AND WEX cards.
4. One (1) contract will be awarded under this RFP (“Contract”). If an offeror does not provide a fully integrated Solution, it must identify in its proposal the provider(s) with whom it will partner to deliver the Solution specified in this RFP, detailing the portion(s) of the Solution that will be delivered by such partner provider(s). If such offeror becomes the Vendor, the Contract will be between the County and Vendor, with Vendor’s partner provider(s) being its subcontractor(s) under the Contract.
