RFP-CMD01-13 - Lead Based Paint, Mold and Asbestos Services

Summary of Specifications:
The Orange County Office of Community Development (OCCD) administers residential rehabilitation programs for low-income households through grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s (HUD’s) Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), Community Development Block Grant - Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR), HOME, Lead Hazard Control Programs and other HUD programs, as may become available. As part of implementing these programs, the County is seeking consulting firms to provide Lead-Based Paint (LBP) Inspections, Risk Assessments, Specifications for Remediation and Clearance Testing in accordance with current HUD and EPA lead-based paint inspection and risk assessment protocols, and to provide mold inspections and asbestos survey that may include, testing, assessments, planning and remediation specifications as may be required on some housing units. There will be a separate contract for each discipline. Interested firms need not submit proposals for all disciplines to be considered.
