ME01292019 - Request for Quotation for Medical Examiner Facility Needs Assessment

The County is requesting quotes from qualified Consultants to perform needs assessment and space planning study for OCME Office. The County is not seeking quotes to develop concrete architectural and engineering plans and specifications for construction of a new facility at this time.

The overall goal of the Needs Assessment is to determine the projected needs of OCME Office and the type/size of a facility needed to meet the projected needs.  The OCME will depend on a comprehensive study of factors to determine the development of a new facility: including space required for future growth, functionality, layout, emerging technology and equipment requirements to provide adequate service to the community. Research will be utilized to prepare a functional use of space analysis along with conceptual floor space plans, and estimated budget and costs of creating a modern and cohesive facility that will serve the OCME Office into the future.
