Summary of Specifications:
The Orange County Department of Mental Health (OCDMH) announces this Request for Proposals (RFP) for the availability of funds to assume operation of existing supported housing units for one or more of the following: • Exhibit 1: 57 units of Supported Housing designated for Individuals with Serious Mental Illness as defined on Attachment A. 2 units of Supported Housing designated for Family with Serious Mental Illness as defined on Attachment A. There are no limits on the number of units (up to 59) an agency may request. • Exhibit 2: 14 units of Supported Housing for persons residing in OMH psychiatric centers, Residential Treatment Facility (RTF), State Operated Community Residences (SOCR), or OMH transitional housing programs serving Orange County residents. These are individuals with serious mental illness who have resided in an OMH psychiatric center, RTF, SOCR, and/or OMH transitional housing program for one year or longer or for six months (at the discretion of the Single Point of Access (SPOA)) if no one meets the one year criteria. There are no limits on the number of units (up to 14) an agency may request.
