Summary of Specifications:
The federal Workforce Investment Act of 1998, title I, subtitle B (Pub. Law 105-220) 29 U.S.C. 2801 et seq. (“WIA”) support program activities to enhance the employability, occupational attainment, retention and earnings of adults, dislocated workers, and youth, who face barriers to employment. Pursuant to WIA §123 the Orange County Workforce Investment Board (“OCWIB”) in partnership with the County Orange, Office of Employment and Training, seeks proposals from qualified providers to provide year-round services to Eligible Youth aged 14 through 21 years of age who are in- and out- of-school in accordance with WIA and the regulations promulgated thereunder, including WIA Regulations, 20 CFR part 664 (65 Fed. Reg. 49294, 49411, Aug. 11, 2000.
