Description

SCOPE

The County of Rockland is replacing portions of its existing network security appliances and software. Lines 1 through 20 of this solicitation is to replace current network system equipment located at the Rockland County DGS-ITS Division data center that has reached its end of life and will no longer be supported. Modifications of or additions to basic standard model(s) indicated or less size or capability to meet these requirements will not be acceptable. Equipment furnished must meet or exceed specifications. This bid is for the purchase of equipment only as the items must be installed by County personnel. Equipment / Brand offered must fully integrate with existing CheckPoint equipment already installed into data center.

REQUIREMENTS

Bidder must be an Authorized Dealer/Reseller for the brand they are bidding and provide documentation / authorization letter with bid response.
Equipment must be New Unused and in its original packaging.
All items must be as specified or approved equal.
Bids containing restrictions will not be acceptable unless the Rockland County Purchasing Department deems the restrictions conform to the County of Rockland requirements.
