Description

The County is seeking a consultant to provide the following services, at a minimum:

Determine actual cleanable square footage for each building,
Determine contractor’s staffing levels based on industry guidelines and best practices,
Review County’s staffing and policies & procedures for inhouse custodial services
Review proposed costs by building,
Review proposed staffing levels and costs,
Review proper application of NYS Prevailing Wage requirements to the contract,
Review allocation of overhead, equipment costs, and supply costs,
Review allocation of Supervision costs,
Review contractor’s Overhead Rate – Currently 15% with proposal to raise it to 18%,
Review scope of work to determine proper tasks and frequency, including daily, periodic and quarterly services,
Review contractors training program,
Assess the quality of services currently being provided,
Review actual manpower being provided on a daily basis compared to the labor costs being charged.
