The purpose of this request for proposal is to enter into a contract with a qualified engineering firm to provide professional engineering services for the design of a Shared Use Path in Rockland County from Palisades to Stony Point, NY. The scope of this project includes the preliminary engineering, final design, environmental review/permitting and final PS&E of the path throughout Rockland County from the southernmost end (Palisades, NY) to the northern most end (Stony Point, NY) along or close to the Hudson River. This path must be accessible to persons walking, bicycling, as well as handicapped accessible.
