PROJECT GOALS
1. Continue to leverage the County’s existing investment in the ESRI Enterprise environment and licensing.
2. Maintain an option to batch upload PDF documents to the GIS Portal.
3. Improve the deployment efficiency of ArcGIS Pro map services.
4. Update and modernize the look of the Enterprise sites configuration.
5. Update the GIS Portal architecture and configuration to current best practices.
6. Transfer the GIS Portal to a Rockland County hosted AWS environment.
7. Select a vendor to manage the day-to-day IT and ESRI maintenance of the GIS Portal.
8. As outlined in more detail in Section 8, invite commentary for alternatives not outlined or suggested in this RFP. Should any alternatives be suggested, their advantages, disadvantages and additional costs must be outlined and included in the written proposal and price sheets.
