The County of Rockland intends to issue a Sole Source award to Amped Software USA, Inc. for their Amped FIVE Perpetual-GOV, License, Amped FIVE Training along with their Maintenance and Support for one year.
This purchase will be made on a sole source basis in accordance with the Rockland County Procurement Policy and shall be an addition to existing Forensic tools and Forensics Software.
This notice is issued for informational purposes only and is NOT a request for competitive quotes.
The Contractor shall be required to provide: One license of their Amped FIVE Perpetual-Gov license ($3,975.00) #AF-LIC-GOV, Training ($1,500.00) #AFT-NA and one year of Maintenance and Support ($1,275.00) #AF-SMS-GOV for a total of $6,750.00.
As per County of Rockland Resolution 212 of 2019 -Authorizing the specification for specific brands of Forensic Software and Hardware for Computer Crimes Taskforce of the Sheriff’s Office allowing specific brands to be specified.
Any interested party that believes they can provide the software noted above, as supplied by Amped Software USA, Inc. proven for use by Law Enforcement agencies, should submit a statement of capabilities in sufficient detail to determine if the requirements of this notice can be met; no later than 3:00 PM, SEPTEMBER 16, 2021 (14 days) of this announcement. A determination by the County not to compete the proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the County. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive solicitation.
