The County of Rockland intends to issue a Sole Source award to Porter Lee. This purchase will be made on a sole source basis in accordance with the Rockland County Procurement Policy and shall be an addition to existing Forensic tools and Forensics Software.

The Contractor shall be required to provide
One (1) Porter Lee BEAST Barcoded Evidence Software License (PLC-EMS) (Client Server) at $3,000.00; two (2) Additional BEAST Property Management Licenses (Client Server) at $1000.00 each; two (2) DS8178 Kits containing: 2D Barcode Scanner, USB Cable Scanner Cradle (ZEB-DS8178SR7U210001) at $1185.00 each; Power Supply Kit Containing PWR-BGA12V50W0WW, CBA-U42-S007PAR, CBLDC-375A1-01, CBL-DC-375A1-01 and 23844-00R at $124.21; Three (3) Thermal Transfer Desktop Printer, ZD42042-C01M00EZ at $720.00 each. The inclusive system shall also include initial supplies such as Two (2) Rolls of Weber White Barcode Labels, 3.25” x .875” PLC-LBL-WHT-1500 (43.00); Four (4) Weber White Barcode Labels, 4”x5”, 500/roll P/N PLC-LBL-WHT-500 ($43.00) and Four (4) Resin Ribbon 4.33” W x 244’ Length ZD420 Cartridge P/N 05095CT110007 ($18.00). The complete system shall include all services such as EMS Installation and Training, Travel Expenses and one year of Annual Software Support at $4,775.00.
Any interested party that believes they can provide the equipment this inclusive Porter Lee Software System noted above, as supplied by Porter Lee. or an equivalent product proven for use by Law Enforcement agencies, should submit a statement of capabilities in sufficient detail to determine if the requirements of this notice can be met; no later than COB June 23, 2020 (14 days) of this announcement. A determination by the County not to compete the proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the County. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive solicitation.
