Description

SCOPE
1. The purpose of this bid is to secure fixed prices to provide and install replacement bearings and gearbox drives for ninety (90) Rotating Biological Contactors, (RBCs). The RBCs are made by LYCO and are located at the Rockland County Sewer District No.1 Main Treatment Plant in Orangeburg, NY 10962.
2. Approximately 180 bearings, and 90 drives will be replaced over a 5-year period on a scheduled basis. More or less 36 bearings and 18 drives will be replaced each year. The work will be performed during regular hours.
