The County of Ulster is currently seeking proposals for actuarial services for the Ulster County Self-Insurance Plan which includes County Government, local municipalities, school districts and volunteer fire fighters.
The County is seeking a qualified Actuary Firm to provide an annual actuarial valuation of the County’s self-insured workers compensation program. The County is asking for an estimate of the liability annually for a three-year period ending December 31, 2021, 2022 and 2023 with two optional one-year renewals for years ending December 31, 2024 and 2025. The Contract period will be from January 1, 2022 through December 31, 2024. The Contract may be extended, by mutual agreement between the County and the vendor, up to two (2) additional one (1) year periods under identical terms and conditions. Each year, the awarded vendor will produce a report containing a three-year forecast.
