Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this bid is to establish a price for the demolition and removal of an existing steel truss bridge for the Ulster County Department of Highways and Bridges. This work shall consist of the demolition and disposal of the existing steel truss superstructure of the Carmine Liberta Bridge that carries NY Rt 299 over the Wallkill River near New Paltz, NY, 12561. It shall also include the removal and disposal of the timber deck and the removal and disposal of the asphalt overlay. Ulster County has secured the necessary NYSDEC Permits.
