Summary of Specifications:
The purpose of this bid is for procurement by the Ulster County Sheriff’s Department. This bid seeks to establish a price for the purchase of One (1) Mercury Outboard 225HP Optimax Motor, the removal of the old motor, the installation of the new motor and any parts necessary to facilitate installation, and the transportation necessary for installation. This is a replacement motor for a custom built boat. In addition, Mercury does not manufacture an Outboard 225HP Optimax Motor with a counter rotator. As part of this bid, purchase of the 225HP Optimax and installation of Counter Rotator is necessary. The motor must be fitted to a custom twenty-seven foot (27’) Aluminum Patriot Marina. The boat already has proper hole placement for a Mercury Motor.
