Base Bid:
The scope of work is to remove and replace a total of nine (9) existing Rooftop HVAC units for the West Building with new units that use Direct Expansion Refrigeration Cooling & Gas Heating Rooftop HVAC Units. Work also includes addition of new low pressure natural gas service to the Hines Administration Building. Scope includes removal and replacement of existing air separator in West Boiler Room. Additionally, scope includes Maintenance & Tube Cleaning of Existing Boiler in East Boiler Room. There is rebalancing of all air flows for all spaces served by all nine (9) Rooftop HVAC units in the West Building.
Add Alternate Work #1:
Removal and Replacement of Boiler, How Water Pumps, Combustion Air System, & Breeching/Chimney stack for West Boiler Room.
Add Alternate Work #2
Removal of existing air cooled chiller, concrete pad, chain link fence & excavate and backfill with clean fill & compact outside. In West Boiler Room, removal of existing chilled water pumps, existing chilled water expansion tank.
Add Alternate Work #3
Replacement of select air outlet devices in spaces in West Building being served by the nine (9) new packaged rooftop HVAC units & moving of some existing air outlets closer to windows where permissible based on existing building structural elements in ceiling.
