Notice is hereby given that the Town of East Fishkill, New York will receive and publicly open and read sealed bids for: RESURFACING OF SOUTH DRIVE CONTRACT ED2023.09 by the Town Clerk's Office (845-221-9191) located at Town Hall, 330 Route 376, Hopewell Junction, New York 12533, at 12:00 pm (prevailing time), June 22, 2023 The Contract Documents may be obtained at the Town Clerk’s Office noted above on June 14, 2023, during regular business hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., Monday through Friday. Alternately, an electronic version (PDF format) of the Contract Documents will become available at NO COST on June 14, 2023. View and obtain the documents on BIDNETDIRECT.COM A Bid Deposit of twenty dollars ($20.00) is required for each contract. Checks should be made payable to the "Town of East Fishkill". This deposit will be returned to all bona fide Bidders. Bids must be submitted in the form prescribed by the Contract Documents within a sealed envelope showing the Bidder's name and clearly marked: RESURFACTING OF SOUTH DRIVE CONTRACT ED2023.09 Each Bidder must furnish, with his Bid, Bid Security in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. This security may be in the form of a certified check payable to the "Town of East Fishkill", a bid bond, or cash. In addition, each Bid must be accompanied by a properly executed noncollusion affidavit. No Bidder may withdraw his Bid within forty-five (45) days of the bid opening. This Contract is subject to the prevailing wage determination made by the New York State Department of Labor. All bids must meet the requirements of the General Municipal Law of the State of New York and all other applicable federal, state and local statues. The lowest qualified proposal meeting the requirements of the Contract Documents will be awarded the contract. The Town Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all portions of the proposal and to re-advertise for same, should the best interest of the Town thereby be promoted. The Town also reserves the right to reject any proposal that is informal, or waive any informality in the bidding document.
