Description

It is the intention of Erie 1 BOCES to receive competitive proposals for Educational Interpreting Services. The Educational Interpreter's primary responsibility is to facilitate communication (both expressive and receptive) among deaf and hearing persons in an educational environment through the use of techniques developed for communication between deaf, hard of hearing, and hearing persons. Other education related duties may be performed when appropriate and needed when the interpreter is not required to interpret.
