RFP21-SMS - Student Management Systems

The Western New York Regional Information Center (“WNYRIC”) at Erie 1 BOCES (“Erie 1”) is seeking proposals to provide support of a Student Management System (SMS) Software Solution (“solution”) for use by local school districts and agencies. The contract would be applicable for use by Erie 1 WNYRIC. The SMS solution may be hosted by the vendor in the United States and allow secured data connections for various data systems as required. Solutions with existing on-premise installations will be considered. The SMS solution must not require the purchase of additional hardware or software. WNYRIC support would include implementation, first line support, training, and other services deemed appropriate to deliver locally. Vendors responding to this request for proposals should understand and accept the requirement that the WNYRIC will be the vendor’s customer and will coordinate billing on behalf of the school districts and agencies. The successful vendor will be required to train designated WNYRIC staff in the use of the application, providing appropriate documentation and support, both initially and ongoing at no charge to the WNYRIC.
