Erie Community College is seeking proposals for instructional services to support the initiatives of the College’s Corporate Training Department. The Corporate Training Department (hereafter referred to as “the Department”) has provided non-credit training programs in support of the academic mission of Erie Community College for over 25 years. The target population that is served by the Department includes individuals, non-profit organizations, municipalities, and the business community at large in Western New York and Erie County.
The Department’s initiative regarding this RFP includes a comprehensive Environmental Safety and Health program to support the Department’s training goals. The Department seeks a training provider to assist with contractual training and consulting. The provider should possess a thorough knowledge of OSHA Safety Standards, specifically 29 CFR 1910 OSHA General Industry and 29 CFR 1926 OSHA Construction Industry Regulations. The provider also must demonstrate their ability to perform a safety and health needs assessment. The Department is seeking an instructional service provider qualified to design, develop and instruct customized environmental safety and health training courses. The vendor(s) awarded this contract will be required to develop and deliver a comprehensive program that ensures program participants will be sufficiently trained to meet customer satisfaction and industry standards. OSHA authorized instructors qualified to teach OSHA Outreach 10 and 30 hour courses, Asbestos, Lead, Mold and HAZWOPER are strongly preferred.
