Bid 2014-06 - Renovations to the Genesee County, Old Courthouse Roof

Summary of Specifications:
Renovations to the Genesee County, Old Courthouse roof include the replacement of the existing wood shingle roof with new synthetic tile roof system. Roof replacements also include the floor of the cupola which calls for removal of asbestos containing roof system and the installation of new flashings and liquid applied roof membrane. Minor masonry restoration of the buildings chimney will be required. Restoration of the cupola is also part of the project and includes repair and replacement to wood trim elements, louvers and railings. Portions of the cupola contain lead paint which will require adherence to applicable Federal, State and local regulations for the required preparation for painting. The address for the Old Courthouse is 7 Main Street, Batavia, NY 14020. A Pre-Bid conference shall be held in the Old Courthouse on February 11, 2014 at 9:30am for the purpose of considering Bidders’ questions.
