Summary of Specifications:
Vision Services must be provided by properly a qualified teacher of the blind and visually impaired (Teacher). This Teacher will be required to provide direct and/or consultative services to visually-impaired school age children in their educational setting. The Teacher will be required to provide assessment and consultation services for the visually impaired; and provide direct services to students in accordance with their IEP or 504 Plan. The Teacher must document all services as well as provide written reports on student’s progress. The Teacher will be required to travel between sites in order to provide services.
