NOTICE TO BIDDERS
The Office of the Livingston County Administrator will receive sealed bids for Construction & Maintenance Materials and Services used by the Livingston County Highway Dept.
Bids will be received by the Office of the Livingston County Administrator, at the Livingston County Government Center, 6 Court St., Room 302, Geneseo, New York, 14454 until 11:00 a.m. on the morning of January 27, 2021..
Copies of said specifications may be obtained from the Livingston County Highway Dept. located at 4389 Gypsy Lane, Mt. Morris, NY 14510, by e-mail eszoczei@co.livingston.ny.us or by calling (585) 243‑6700. Bids may also be obtained by download at http://www.empirestatebidsystem.com.
The official time for the receipt of bids will be the time shown on the time stamp located in the Board of Supervisors/County Administration area, Room 302 on the third floor, Livingston County Government Center, 6 Court Street, Geneseo, New York 14454. In the event the building is not opened this will be the time shown on the cell phone of the County representative accepting the bid package from the bidder. There will be directional information at the Government Center front building entrance.
All bids received will be publicly opened and read in Room 208 of said Government Center at 11:00 a.m. on the morning of January 27, 2021. “Due to COVID-19 we will be conducting the opening as scheduled while practicing social distancing.”
All bids must be placed in a sealed envelope and shall clearly be marked “Sealed bid for Highway Construction & Maintenance Materials and Services.” E-mailed and faxed bids are not accepted.
Security procedures are in effect at the Livingston County Office Building. Interested parties, especially contractors who intend to hand deliver bids and/or conduct business with Livingston County should allow sufficient time for any delay which may arise as a result of security procedures. To be considered “delivered on time”; a submission must be received by County Administration by the appointed day and time.
Please be advised that only those bidders that have submitted a bid for the bid package being opened will be allowed to attend the actual opening in Room 208.
All bids must be accompanied by a non‑collusion statement in order to be considered. The County of Livingston reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
