02212025 - Speech Pathology Services

The purpose of the Request for Proposal is to evaluate and select an agency which provides speech-language pathology and therapy services for students with disabilities grades Pre-K to 12 for whom such services have been identified as necessary to access and benefit from an educational program. These services are provided during the regular school hours for students attending a preschool/school program for a ten (10) and/or twelve (12) month period. Additionally, these therapy services may be offered to students who are on a medical homebound status and require their related therapy services to be delivered inside the home. Increases or reduction of services for current and additional students may become necessary throughout the contract period based upon individual students’ needs as determined through the committees on Preschool Education, Special Education, or 504 Accommodations for the provision of a free and appropriate education. In addition, provide flexible per diem substitute coverage as needed to school Speech-Language Pathologists in the event of substitute Speech-Language Pathologist shortages.
